SCARRITT RENAISSANCE EMBANKMENT SLIDE

Go BIG or go home. That was our theme in designing an Embankment Slide for the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood and Kansas City Parks & Recreation. We used the existing landscape to redefine what a slide could be while creating a sculptural anchor for the neighborhood and a hub for neighborhood kids and families. The vision of the Embankment Slide helped the neighborhood secure a playground grant from KaBoom! and is the first component of a larger master plan we developed.
