Moonstone is a cocktail bar designed as a layered interior experience, where material, light, and sound work together to shape atmosphere.
Designed by KEM STUDIO, the space brings bar, lounge, and dining into a cohesive environment anchored by a terrazzo bar and defined by a rich material palette of wood, velvet, and brass. A sequence of perforated ceiling panels with integrated lighting and acoustics creates rhythm overhead, balancing acoustics with a soft, ambient glow.
The bar acts as the central element, organizing the space while supporting a curated back bar and vinyl listening setup. Seating shifts from more social positions at the bar to quieter moments in lounge and banquette areas, allowing the experience to adjust in scale and tone throughout the space.
From the entry sequence and host stand to framed views into the dining room, each moment is considered as part of a continuous progression. Window seating extends the experience outward, connecting the interior atmosphere to the surrounding landscape.
Moonstone is designed as an environment that reveals itself over time. Where movement, material, and light work together to create a refined and immersive hospitality experience.
