GRACE BROEDER

Grace Broeder, AIA, is an Associate Principal at KEM STUDIO. Since graduating from the University of Kansas in 2012, she’s worked alongside nationally-recognized designers regionally and internationally. Her project contributions have ranged from small-scale installation to urban master planning. These broad experiences, paired with the opportunity to work across diverse project teams, have fortified her belief in the power of a collaborative, discovery-based design approach.
When not architecting, she enjoys long hikes through lush Missouri wildlife and shorter walks through her garden …. which is characteristically less lush, but surprisingly resilient against her lack of green thumb.
University of Kansas – Master’s of Architecture, AIA Henry Adams Medal, Minor in German (2012)
University of Stuttgart – Ewart Traveling Scholarship (2009/2010)
