JESSE CRUPPER

Jesse Crupper, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is the Sustainable Design Director at KEM STUDIO who comes with a decade of experience. Jesse has worked the gamut of project types from high-performance single-family concrete homes to luxury hotels and post-secondary student experience facilities. Jesse’s love for the environment, both built and natural, led him on a path to the field of architecture, and advocacy for ecological design has followed him through his personal and professional life. In 2016, Jesse was appointed by Mayor Sly James to serve on the Industrial Development Authority, a conduit bond issuer. He serves as a Vice-President and is helping push redevelopment of the Blue Valley Eco-dustrial District. Since 2017, Jesse has served on the Market Leadership Advisory Committee for the USGBC Central Plains helping to advocate for better access to sustainable design tools in the AEC industry.
Jesse and his family of 5 are on the tail end of a live-in gut rehab to a net-zero carbon home in Volker; He looks forward to the day when he can sit comfortably on the front porch, drinking PBR and Laphroaig, knowing that the project is finally done. His wife is skeptical that this will ever happen, but is proud of him for being so confident and positive.
